The shelter staff think I am 10 months old.

Ellie is a 42-pound girl who was originally adopted from the shelter but was recently returned when her owner could no longer care for her. She is closely bonded with her best friend Layla, and the two will need to be adopted together. Ellie is friendly and enjoys playing, but she can be a little unsure of the world and will need a patient, understanding home that can help her build confidence. She feels most comfortable and secure when Layla is by her side, and together they make a wonderful pair. With love, patience, and encouragement, Ellie will continue to grow into a happy, confident companion.
