To enhance safety and pedestrian mobility, the City of Tallahassee is planning a sidewalk improvement project for streets surrounding Sabal Palm Elementary School including Ridgeway Street, Villamore Avenue, and Dale Street. Sidewalks are planned to extend on Ridgeway Street from Harris Street to Eisenhower Street, on Villamore Avenue from Eisenhower Street to Dale Street, and on Dale Street from Villamore Avenue to Ridgeview Street. The project is anticipated to include the addition of curb, gutter, drainage infrastructure, sidewalks, and landscape improvements.

A community meeting to collect community feedback was held February 11, 2025, at the City of Tallahassee Logistics Center. Thank you to everyone who attended.
